Senior Global Compensation Manager

Benevity is searching for a Senior Global Compensation Manager who will be responsible for delivering on the compensation roadmap for the organization to attract, retain and engage our people. This role will report directly to the Chief People Officer.

Key Responsibilities :

Program Design & Delivery

  • Effectively implement, and manage Benevity's compensation philosophy, strategy and approach.
  • Ensure that our pay programs comply with all relevant laws and regulations (pay equity, pay transparency), and company policies.
  • Responsible for the annual merit, bonus and promotion administration, driving efficiencies in process and programs to scale for future growth.
  • Provide expertise and adapt compensation design / approach to align with market trends, business strategy, and Benevity's culture.
  • Manage all activity related to compensation surveys throughout the year and audit survey output, market trends and competitive pay positions to ensure Benevity's salary plans meet overall company goals and objectives.
  • Partner with People Team peers and business leaders to develop Benevity's career framework and compensation structure that guides career succession including evaluating and aligning positions and job levels to market and establishing a course for career progression.
  • Partner with Finance and People Operations on equity administration, grant documentation, reporting and transaction processing, and stock issuances for long term incentives.
  • Partner with revenue operations for sales plan eligible employee compensation
  • Develop and implement recognition programs to drive employee engagement and retention.

Education and Communication

  • Lead education efforts for Benevity Leaders and HR Business Partners to support understanding of how programs operate and fairness efforts."
  • Provide guidance to Leaders, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition teams on compensation practices, leveling, and offer recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver communications and training on compensation programs to employees, managers, and other stakeholders.

Reporting, Approvals and Vendor Management

  • Supporting the material creation for quarterly Compensation Committee Reviews with Benevity Board
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to make recommendations for internal and external offers to attract and retain highly sought-after talent globally at all levels.
  • Establish and manage compensation and benefit related budget, prepare accruals, and provide audit support, as necessary.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with external partners. Assist with quarter and year-end close equity financial reporting

Skill Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefit survey systems and processes.
  • Ability to manage data reporting and analytics, develop actionable insights and succinctly communicate to a variety of stakeholders to guide decision making.
  • Experience managing executive compensation and equity plans.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and prioritize competing demands.
  • Strong emotional IQ; ability to maintain composure and operate in a strictly confidential manner.
