Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Glazing Project Manager to join our Winnipeg branch and lead complex commercial glazing projects from pre-construction through closeout.

This role targets an experienced glazing professional with a proven track record managing large-scale projects valued from $500K to $2M+, responsible for budgets, schedules, and client relationships, while mentoring junior staff. All duties must meet safety, quality, and timeline standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience managing commercial glazing projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects valued between $500K and $2M+.
• Extensive knowledge of curtain wall, storefront, window wall, and commercial glazing systems.
• Strong contract administration, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• PMP designation considered an asset.
• Education in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field considered an asset.
• Advanced proficiency with project management software including Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial glazing projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Review and interpret contracts, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, labour productivity, and financial performance.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower planning, fabrication, procurement, and installation activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Lead negotiations and resolve project-related challenges.
• Oversee project risk management and change order processes.
• Mentor and support junior project team members.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
