Job summary

Pinchin Canada seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical projects from planning to completion in Southern Ontario. You will provide technical direction, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You should have 10–15 years of geotechnical experience, a P.Eng in Ontario (or eligibility), and strong knowledge of slope stability, foundations, and earthworks. Travel to project sites across Ontario is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering.
• Professional Engineering Designation in Ontario or eligibility to register.
• 10 to 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, slope stability, retaining structures, earthworks, pavements, and construction-related issues.
• Working knowledge of Ontario standards, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support geotechnical projects from planning through execution.
• Mentor junior staff and develop team skills.
• Support business development through client communication and relationship building.
• Prepare contracts, proposals, and reports; provide client guidance on regulations and guidelines.
• Review and direction of geotechnical analyses and reports.
