Job summary

TBT Engineering is seeking a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer in Ontario to lead and contribute to a broad range of geotechnical projects. You will apply advanced technical knowledge in planning, design and delivery, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

The role requires a Civil/Geotechnical Engineering degree with P.Eng. registration and 10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering with P.Eng. registration.
• 10+ years of experience in geotechnical investigation, analysis and design across infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with geotechnical design and analysis software and knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design and analysis (foundation design, slope stability, characterization).
• Interpret site investigations including borehole data and lab results.
• Develop, review and verify geotechnical reports and recommendations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulators to ensure project delivery.
