Zusammenfassung

PRI is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead projects end to end in Vancouver and Calgary. This hands-on role requires sealing your own work, mentoring engineers and technologists, and taking professional responsibility under EGBC guidelines.

You will work on seismic assessments, dam and tailings storage facilities, and a range of land development, buildings, and transportation projects, delivering practical, constructible geotechnical solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 8 years of progressive geotechnical consulting experience and leadership.
• Lead and seal your own projects with professional responsibility.
• Demonstrated seismic experience: site classification, liquefaction mitigation, seismic design parameters.
• Dam or tailings experience is a strong asset and dam safety work familiarity.

Aufgaben

• Lead geotechnical projects from scoping and site investigation through analysis, design, reporting and construction support.
• Direct design of foundations, settlement, slope stability, retaining/shoring systems, earthworks, and ground improvement.
• Lead seismic assessment including liquefaction mitigation and seismic slope stability.
• Provide geotechnical leadership on dams and tailings facilities with stability and seepage analyses.
• Plan/direct site investigations and interpret field/lab data into actionable recommendations.
• Seal reports and designs under EGBC requirements; manage scope, budget, schedule, and fees.
• Mentor intermediate engineers, EITs, and technologists on projects.
