Publishing Resources Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to support seismic, dam, and complex geotechnical work across our Canadian offices.

The role involves hands-on project work, evolving toward ownership, and collaboration with senior engineers on diverse land development and infrastructure projects. Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Geological Engineering with a geotechnical specialization.
• P.Eng. registration with provincial body is required or pursued.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive geotechnical consulting experience.
• Working knowledge of seismic concepts including site classification and liquefaction assessment.
• Dam or tailings experience is a plus, including stability/seepage analysis.
• Proficient with geotechnical software (GeoStudio, Settle3, PLAXIS, LPile, FLAC, gINT).
• Strong writing and communication skills; willing to travel to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Support geotechnical projects from scoping to reporting and construction support under senior staff guidance.
• Carry out design work for foundations, settlement, slope stability, retaining/shoring systems, earthworks, and ground improvements.
• Contribute to seismic assessment work including site classification, liquefaction mitigation, and seismic design parameters.
• Support dams and tailings projects with stability/seepage analysis and instrumentation review under senior oversight.
• Plan and conduct site investigations; interpret data into practical recommendations.
• Prepare reports, designs, and field review docs for sealing by a senior engineer.
• Assist with scope, budget, and schedule tracking and mentor junior staff as experience grows.
