Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is seeking a Manager Engineering – Gas Pipeline in Toronto, ON. You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering group responsible for design, maintenance, and advancement of gas pipeline facilities across Ontario and Quebec, applying risk-based methods to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an Engineering degree, P. Eng in Ontario, and 8+ years of experience leading engineers and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Registered P. Eng in Ontario.
• 8+ years of progressive pipeline engineering experience, including leadership of professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Technical knowledge of pipeline design, materials, welding, NDE, coatings, cathodic protection, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pipeline Engineering team, setting priorities and driving safety culture.
• Establish and maintain pipeline engineering standards, specs, and technical controls.
• Provide technical expertise for transmission and distribution pipelines, including design approvals and emergency response.
• Oversee materials, welding, NDE, coatings, cathodic protection, and corrosion mitigation.
• Apply risk-based methodologies to engineering assessments and design decisions.
• Collaborate with operations, regulators, vendors, and industry bodies to improve performance and implement new technologies.
