Location

Metro Vancouver offices – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

About The Role

As the Senior Funding Arrangements Developer, you will manage, plan, and deliver FNHA funding agreement and administration services on behalf of the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA).

About You

To be successful in this role you will have-

Education And Experience

• Diploma in Business Administration or relevant field, plus three (4) years of related experience working with First Nations communities, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Principal And Responsibilities

• Conducts research and analysis to identify background information and costs for funding agreements, and develops, administers, and performs due diligence monitoring of funding agreements on behalf of First Nations Health Authority program managers.
• Manages and oversees the integrity of the funding agreements database system, including obtaining identifications for new users, providing basic system training, providing updates on system changes to users, and taking conference calls.
• Plans and manages annual funding agreement productions, system processing, and temporary help standing offer renewal processes.
• Researches and provides technical and legal interpretations, expert advice, and guidance to clients concerning regulations, policies, and directives relating to funding agreements.
• Attends departmental meetings and serves as a member of working groups for the development, testing, and implementation of new and amended systems, policies, standards, directives, and pro forma that support existing and new programs and processes. Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of First Nations traditions and etiquette.
• Ability to analyze information, develop conclusions, and provide recommendations.
• Ability to interpret legal concepts, issues ,and terminology.
• Knowledge of funding agreement policies, regulations, and practices
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, methods, and techniques.
• Knowledge of financial analysis methods, techniques, and practices.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Working Conditions

• A valid BC Driver’s License is required

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
