You will

• Build tools and automation to help users manage employment compliance
• Integrate APIs and build data pipelines
• Develop API endpoints to support applications and partners
• Create UI/UX solutions that address compliance challenges
• Design, implement, and iterate new features from scratch
• Synthesize user feedback to inform future development
• Lay the groundwork for future engineering and product initiatives
• Set up initial infrastructure and CI workflows
• Collaborate closely with the founder and team to build prototypes and MVPs

We’re looking for someone with

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• A mix of technical expertise and product understanding
• Ability to solve novel problems and think critically

You would be a good fit if

• You have startup experience or have led new projects from scratch
• You have deep expertise in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, and familiarity with React, FastAPI, and Postgres
