Job summary

Cohere is a leading security-first AI company building foundation models and end-to-end solutions for enterprises. You will contribute to North, Cohere’s AI workspace platform, shipping features and autonomous agents that safely access sensitive data while maintaining strong security postures.

You will collaborate with researchers and engineers to productionize advanced models, delivering performant, secure solutions across the stack in a remote-friendly setup with on-site collaboration options.

Qualifications

• Shipped fullstack code (Python and React) in production.
• Excel in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
• Experience in both large enterprises and startups.
• Strong coding abilities across the stack.
• Able to read and fix issues outside the main code base.
• Built and deployed high-performance client-side or server-side RAG/agentic apps for millions of users.
• Bonus: portfolio, GitHub or project showcases.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features for North, Cohere's AI workspace platform.
• Develop autonomous agents that talk to sensitive enterprise data.
• Write and ship minimal code that runs in low-resource environments with strict deployment.
• Sometimes avoid popular libraries due to security/privacy considerations.
• Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques.
