Proof is a fast-growing startup in legal tech, offering a best-in-class platform trusted by thousands of law firms across the U.S. and Canada. We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our remote engineering team as we scale.

You’ll design and build both frontend and backend components using Go, React, and TypeScript, optimize APIs and databases, and contribute to code reviews, testing, and best practices in a collaborative agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with Go (Golang) in production and designing robust APIs.
• Strong React and TypeScript frontend experience.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• RESTful services; GraphQL knowledge is a plus.
• Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and remote/agile teamwork.
• Self-driven mindset and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components for the Proof platform.
• Backend development using Go (Golang), creating and optimizing APIs and database usage.
• Implement modern interfaces with React and TypeScript for performance and scalability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability, and security risks.
• Work with Product and Design in an agile environment to deliver high-impact features.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor less experienced developers.
• Proactively suggest and adopt new technologies and methodologies.
