Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Sr. Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack Developer) based in Canada. You will work across the full stack, combining modern .NET and C# backend development with React-based front-end experiences.

The role focuses on scalable APIs, event-driven microservices, cloud-native solutions, and distributed systems. You will mentor developers and influence engineering standards while collaborating with architects, product teams, engineers, and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of full-stack development with C#/.NET Core and React.
• Advanced knowledge of RESTful APIs and API-first development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or comparable event-streaming tech.
• Strong Azure experience, incl. API Management and Key Vault.
• Kubernetes and Terraform for orchestration/automation.
• Experience with ArgoCD or similar GitOps.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement event-driven microservices and APIs using .NET Core and C#.
• Build full-stack apps with React front end and .NET/Azure backend services.
• Develop consumer-facing APIs following API-first design principles.
• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to define robust solutions.
• Break down epics into manageable development tasks.
• Produce secure, high-quality code with unit/integration tests.
• Conduct code reviews and promote best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize distributed backend services.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers and stakeholders to deliver value.
• Mentor junior developers and encourage technical growth.
• Maintain technical docs for apps and services.
• Adapt to changing tech and priorities while managing deadlines.
