Job summary

RBC Insurance is seeking a senior Java full‑stack developer to lead design and delivery of digital applications within the RBC Insurance portfolio. You will mentor developers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build robust UI and microservices, with emphasis on quality and maintainability.

You will work in an Agile environment, promote production readiness, and stay current with new technologies while ensuring reliable deployments and clear technical communication.

Qualifications

5+ years with Java 11+ and modern web stack
Experience in REST/Microservices and Spring Boot
Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Experience on OpenShift/Azure and APIGEE
Experience in Agile teams and CI tools
Familiar with AI tools for development

Responsibilities

Lead design, development and maintenance of RBC Insurance digital apps
Mentor frontend, API, and QA engineers in projects
Contribute to UI and microservices with automated tests
Promote production deployments with operations and ensure performance
Document practices and stay current with new tech
