Job summary

Autodesk, Inc. through MaintainX is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Work Execution Platform team. You will build and refine end-to-end workflows using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MySQL, collaborating with product managers and designers to shape the roadmap.

We require 5+ years of professional full-stack experience, strong communication, and experience with mobile-first, responsive development. Nice-to-have GraphQL, React Native, and SQL database experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products.
• Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development.
• A track record of writing maintainable, testable code you’re comfortable handing off to someone else.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Day-to-day use of AI tools in your development workflow.
• Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience.
• Experience with scheduling or calendar UIs, data-heavy front ends, offline-first or sync architectures, multi-tenant or enterprise platforms, workflow engines, or inventory and transactional systems.

Job Requisition ID # 26WD101575 Senior Full Stack Developer MaintainX is part of Autodesk and a key component of Autodesk Operations Solutions, the organization bringing together Autodesk’s capabilities across the full asset lifecycle. Its mobile-first work execution platform helps industrial and frontline teams manage maintenance, assets, and day-to-day operations. Together, these solutions advance Autodesk’s strategy to connect design, make, and operate in one continuous lifecycle. About the Team Core is the heart of the MaintainX CMMS: the work orders, planning and scheduling, inventory and parts, reporting, and asset hierarchy that frontline teams touch every day. It is also where some of our newest investment is happening, including two newly formed teams building a Work Execution Platform and a rebuilt Technician Experience from scratch. If you want to work close to what customers use daily, and have a chance at green-field ownership, this is the place.

What You’ll Work On Build and improve the workflows customers use every day, from scheduling and parts management to reporting. Solve hard product problems: dense, data-heavy interfaces, large datasets, offline behaviour and multi-site scale. On our newly formed teams, shape architecture and engineering practices from the ground up. Make complex workflows feel simple on desktop and mobile. The Role Ship features end to end, from planning through production. Partner directly with Product Managers and Designers to shape your team's roadmap, not just execute against it. Own a feature area or system’s long-term health: reliability, performance, and the parts of the codebase nobody notices until they break. Review code and mentor other developers on your team. Raise the bar on tooling, testing, and delivery practices. Our core stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, and MySQL. Some teams use C# or Python. You don’t need to already know every piece of it to apply. You’ll land on a team of 5 to 10 people and take on-call rotation as part of the role. Within your first 6 months, you’ll own a feature area or system outright. We’re looking for 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products. Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js. Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development. A track record of writing maintainable, testable code you’re comfortable handing off to someone else. Strong written and verbal communication: you can explain a technical tradeoff to a designer or a support lead as easily as to another developer. Comfort making progress on a problem before the spec is fully settled, adjusting as you learn more. Day-to-day use of AI tools in your development workflow, not just occasional experimentation. Nice to have: GraphQL, React Native, or SQL database experience. Salary transparency Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
