Job summary

Jonas Software is seeking a mid-senior software architect to lead the migration from legacy systems to modern architectures. You will own platform design, set coding standards, and drive AI-powered enhancements across the core product.

You will work closely with leadership to align architecture with the product roadmap, manage external integrations, and ensure zero-downtime migrations in a lean team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating legacy systems to modern architectures.
• Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and relational databases.
• Ability to own architecture decisions in a lean, low-process team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the new platform architecture — from legacy systems to modern stacks.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features into the core product.
• Collaborate directly with leadership on architecture decisions, technical priorities, and product roadmap
• Set code standards, review practices, and engineering culture on a small team
• Own integrations with external APIs and third-party systems
• Maintain business continuity during migration phases — zero downtime wherever possible
