Job summary

Jonas Software is seeking a Technical Lead for the Central AI Lab to build and ship production-grade AI capabilities reusable across BUs. You will lead hands-on engineering, set high standards, and ensure measurable delivery in 90-day cycles with strong DevOps, security, and handover discipline.

This role focuses on scalable AI components, reference architectures, and end-to-end ownership across cloud and on‑prem environments, including mentoring engineers and driving adoption of AI‑DLC

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production software systems (SaaS/enterprise).
• Strong SDLC fundamentals: testing, code review, CI/CD, release management, incident thinking.
• Proven ability to design secure systems: authN/authZ, secrets management, audit/logging, least privilege.
• Comfort going full stack when needed and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end solution design and implementation for central pilots and reusable components.
• Lead technical discovery with BUs: constraints, data readiness, integration points, security requirements.
• Establish CI/CD patterns for AI‑enabled systems with tests, security scanning, release gates.
• Drive reliability: observability, cost controls, latency, fallbacks, and safe failure modes.
• Mentorship and enablement: coach junior engineers and partner engineers on modern SDLC and pragmatic AI delivery.
• Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and case studies.
