Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Front End - Software Developer to design, develop, implement, test and maintain complex enterprise web applications in Toronto on site. This 6-month contract assignment operates under a professional services engagement (B2B) with an incorporated entity.

The successful consultant will bring extensive experience with Java, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5 and CSS, plus strong expertise in responsive, accessible web development, Oracle databases

Qualifications

10+ years of Java development experience.
10+ years of JavaScript development experience.
5+ years of React development.
5+ years of TypeScript development.
5+ years of RxJS experience.
5+ years of HTML5 and CSS experience.
5+ years of experience with Java development IDE tools (Eclipse, IBM RAD, IBM RSA).
5+ years of experience with WebSphere v8.5 or higher.
Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
5+ years of experience with Node/NPM and frontend tooling.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement front-end functionality for complex enterprise web applications.
Translate technical system specifications into functional, tested and maintainable applications.
