Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a detail-oriented Software Developer - Front End - Intermediate for an enterprise-level contract in Toronto. The role is onsite five days a week, for a 12-month term with potential extension.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain responsive front-end UI using React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, and Jamstack, while ensuring accessibility and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable web applications and APIs

Qualifications

• Experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with Node.js, Next.js, Jamstack, RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive front-end UI code across complex applications.
• Translate specifications into fully tested applications with clean code.
• Build, test, and integrate secure RESTful APIs using Node.js and modern JS frameworks.
• Implement architecture with Next.js, Jamstack, SSR/CSR rendering.
• Perform front-end testing, cross-browser checks, and performance debugging.
• Develop applications adhering to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.0 AA, AODA).
• Query, modify, and integrate with back-end databases using SQL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve runtime issues during deployment and migrations.
• Manage source control workflows with Bitbucket and Git.
• Create technical documentation and unit tests.
