1. Collaborate closely with peers, Architects, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Engineers, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet functional and non-functional standards and expectations.
2. Be involved in development, testing, release, triage, bug fix, documentation, and work in an Agile environment. Use tools like JIRA, Git, CICD, and other internal tools to prioritize work and deliver features.
3. Deliver world-class web experiences for sellers utilizing modern web technologies while maintaining high quality, reusability, performance, and other front-end standard methodologies.
4. This role requires mastery in Frontend development, but you should also be comfortable with all layers of multi-tier applications to design complete solutions and maintain products.
5. Participate in technical design and code reviews, providing feedback to other engineers on the team.
6. Estimate engineering efforts, plan roadmaps, and be responsible for operational processes such as automation and controls to enhance efficiency and quality of both manual and technical operations.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 2+ years of experience in building large-scale web-based distributed systems.
2. Solid CSS3 skills including layouts, media queries, responsive design, gradients, transitions, positioning, flexbox, box models, floating, block elements, inlining, preprocessors, etc.
3. Hands-on frontend testing skills using frameworks such as Mocha/Chai, including mocks, spies, stubs, visual regression tools like Percy, code coverage, and CI/CD integrations like Jenkins.
4. Solid understanding of REST-based interfaces and familiarity with storage technologies (relational and NoSQL).
5. Experience with drag-and-drop functionality, image editing, video upload capabilities, and real-time streaming is desirable.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
