About the team

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is the primary Finance partner for Equativ’s business leaders. The team is composed of several FP&A Analysts, based in Paris (HQ) & Montreal, who strive to provide enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting.

The team’s main mission is to provide visibility and counseling on the business not only to the executive team but also to local business leaders. They measure and forecast performance, report on revenue and cost drivers, and allocate budgets across a fast-growing, complex environment. The team also contributes to finance projects such as M&A growth, product pricing and billing, and contract renegotiations.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Business Analytics & FP&A, you will work closely with internal stakeholders (BU Leaders) to provide financial insights, ensuring understanding of financial performance and necessary actions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Business intelligence and partnering

• You will be the FP&A leader in North America, the main market for Equativ, responsible for educating and communicating effectively with internal clients.
• Analyze complex business figures, providing insights and recommendations.
• Act as a business partner to departments such as Regional Sales, HR, Customer Support, and Product, focusing on P&L monitoring and performance follow-up.
• Collaborate with the local accounting team on cost control.

Contributing to Core FP&A Production

• Support the central team in core FP&A processes like closing, bonus, forecasting, and budgeting, tailored to team-specific needs.
• Assist with bonus processes and support during high workload periods like annual budgeting.

Miscellaneous

• Support transformation initiatives, process improvements, and new analysis needs related to M&A, pricing, etc.

About You

• Master’s degree in Finance or Analytics from a top Business or Engineering School.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Business Analytics, or related fields in a tech environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
• Curious, eager to learn, and innovative problem-solver.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and interest in accounting topics.
• Ability to solve problems end-to-end.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Anaplan, and Tableau is a plus, with a willingness to learn.
