Job summary

CPA Ontario is seeking a Senior Investigator (Forensic Accountant) to lead complex investigations for the Professional Conduct Committee, applying forensic accounting expertise and investigative leadership.

You will mentor investigators, manage cases, participate in training, and contribute to strategic initiatives. A CPA in good standing with MFAcc/DIFA or equivalent is required, with 10+ years of progressive experience in investigations.

Qualifications

• CPA in good standing with MFAcc/DIFA or equivalent forensic accounting credential.
• 10+ years of progressive forensic accounting and investigative experience.
• Experience conducting investigative interviews and providing expert testimony.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations into complaints against members, including evidence gathering and witness interviews.
• Develop investigation strategies, manage case budgets, and collaborate with subject matter experts.
• Prepare evidentiary briefs and investigation reports for decision-making committees.
• Provide litigation support and serve as a witness in disciplinary proceedings.
• Mentor investigators and support staff to maintain investigative excellence.
