Job summary

Municipal Group of Companies in Halifax, Nova Scotia, seeks an experienced Receiving Facilities Manager to oversee the safe movement of waste and recyclables across NS and NB. You will lead 15+ drivers, coordinate with facilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency in logistics and fleet operations.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
Proven experience leading and supervising transportation teams.
Strong knowledge of provincial and federal transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily transportation operations of 15+ drivers, including dispatch, routing, scheduling, and fleet coordination.
Optimize routes and load planning to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Develop and maintain relationships with facilities, depot managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Monitor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
