Job summary

Fero Waste and Recycling Inc., a division of The Municipal Group of Companies, is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to haul customer waste from industrial, commercial, and institutional sites across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. The role involves loading, unloading, and delivering containers on assigned routes.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain safe operations, and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of driving experience in a transportation sector.
• Minimum Class 3 Driver's license with air brake endorsement.
• Experience driving manual transmission.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer focus.
• Willingness to pick up shifts and work additional hours as required.
• Clean drivers abstract.
• Working safely is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Satisfy customer needs for service. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies
• Responsible for daily pre and post-trip inspections
• Complete daily route as assigned by the Operations Manager
• The daily route consists of driving to customer sites, securing bins on the truck, emptying bins at the transfer station, returning the bin to the customer site
• Perform driver check-ins at day’s end to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner
• Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities
• Required to climb up the ladder on the truck to tarp loads
• Required to be able to lift the Roll-Off hook and attach it to the bin, requires bending and ability to lift 25-50 pounds
• May perform some other additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Job Summary

The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for the hauling of customer waste from industrial, commercial, and institutional sites. The driver is responsible for performing assigned duties on container delivery and hauling of industrial roll-off routes.
