Cachet Homes, a leading Ontario homebuilder, seeks a Senior Analyst, Financial Reporting. The role supports quarterly and annual financial statements, project accounting, and tax filings.

You will engage with executive leadership, manage reconciliations, and drive process improvements in a dynamic, growth-focused environment. Ideal candidates hold a CPA, have 3–5 years in public or private practice, and command ASPE with strong Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• CPA designation obtained through public practice is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting or public practice.
• Experience preparing corporate income tax (T2) returns.
• Experience with compiling, reviewing and auditing engagement files.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with ASPE.
• Advanced Excel skills and systems aptitude.
• Ability to own files end-to-end and meet deadlines.
• Real estate, construction, or land development exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and quarter-end working papers and reconciliations.
• Support job cost and land development accounting with budgets vs actuals.
• Produce variance analyses and management reporting for leadership.
• Assist with cash flow reporting, forecasting, and lender reports.
• Coordinate year-end files and respond to audit inquiries.
• Prepare T2 tax returns and support tax/compliance matters.
• Identify process improvements and assist system enhancements.
• Tackle special projects for the VP and senior leadership.
