    • Assist with the preparation and analysis of the month-end budget-to-actual analysis.
  2. Annual External Audit & Income Tax Returns
    • Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit process, acting as the key liaison with external auditors.
    • Prepare and review audit schedules, workpapers, and reconciliations for accuracy.
    • Assist in drafting financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures in compliance with ASPE.
    • Address auditor inquiries, provide supporting documentation, and resolve audit findings promptly.
    • Support the preparation and review of corporate tax returns, gathering necessary financial data.
  3. Inventory & Bill of Materials (BOM) Maintenance
    • Ensure accurate inventory costing within NetSuite.
    • Oversee inventory reconciliation with operations to resolve discrepancies.
    • Support the maintenance and accuracy of the BOM, ensuring correct cost allocations.
    • Collaborate with operations to improve inventory controls and reporting.
  4. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
    • Evaluate and enhance internal controls for reporting accuracy and compliance.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline audits and reporting.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

We’re excited about you because you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of experience in public accounting.
  • CPA certification (completed or in progress).
  • Experience with a Big Four firm is a plus.
  • Availability to work in Downtown Toronto three days per week, including Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP is a plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple deadlines.

  • Opportunities for growth, development, and thriving within a mission-driven, dynamic, and fast-growing company alongside passionate individuals.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage and RRSP plans with company match.
  • Great office culture (with adorable pets!), where pet interruptions during calls or meetings are welcomed.
  • Discounts on food, apparel, and insurance for your pets.
  • Additional PTO, wellness days, and personal days to support your wellbeing.
  • Volunteer days to give back to our community.
