Job description

We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Revenue FP&A.

This role is available to candidates across Canada and the US, excluding Quebec.

Our Financial Planning & Analysis team is focused on driving stakeholder and shareholder value by developing the operating and financial plans required to achieve our company goals. You will help our business grow, help our customers succeed, and continuously improve the way we operate.

Who you are:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst who takes numbers seriously, thrives in a rapid-growth, high-velocity environment, and someone who lives and breathes our values.

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving insights and supporting strategic decision-making through in-depth analyses, revenue forecasting, ad-hoc financial modeling, and strong stakeholder partnerships. This position requires a deep understanding of SaaS business models, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll work on:
  1. Gather data from various sources to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, and provide key analytics, analyses, and summaries as required.
  2. Develop and maintain comprehensive revenue forecasting models, in collaboration with revenue-generating teams, focusing on SaaS business models.
  3. Deeply analyze data and work closely with business partners to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and growth.
  4. Provide insights and decision-making support for business partners and the leadership team. Examples of analyses: ROI, Unit economics scenario analysis, Lifetime value and customer acquisition cost, and Sales efficiency trends.
  5. Develop and update financial models with actuals, conduct variance analysis, find and communicate insights, and forecast future performance.
  6. Monitor and develop KPIs, identify trends and proactively work with operational leaders on opportunities to grow the business.
  7. Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives. Examples: financial modelling and presentations of findings and strategic insights to stakeholders, including the executive leadership team.
  8. Ensure we have strong data cleanliness and source of truth reporting.
  9. Work closely with Accounting to ensure all financial information is accurate.
What you bring:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (finance, accounting)
  2. CPA or CFA designation is preferred
  3. Have 3+ years of Financial Planning or Business Analyst experience
  4. Proven experience in Investment Banking, Financial Consulting, or finance within a high-growth or SaaS-driven environment, with a strong track record in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis
  5. Strong understanding of SaaS business metrics and key performance indicators is a big asset
  6. Be passionate about effective and intuitive data visualization
  7. Be deeply data-driven, analytical, and curious
  8. Be self-motivated, independent, and deadline-oriented
  9. Be passionate about building data-driven organizations and having an impact on the business
  10. Clear, concise, articulate, professional verbal and written reasoning and storytelling skills to communicate effectively to audiences at all levels of the organization
