Job summary

Techtronic Industries Inc. in Toronto HQ is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst to lead financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to drive profitable growth and provide strategic recommendations for leadership decisions.

The role requires 3+ years of finance experience, CPA candidate or designation, and strong Excel/SAP/HFM skills. A competitive base salary plus bonus is offered in a dynamic corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Fully designated CPA, or close to completion.
• 3+ years' finance and accounting experience - preferably for a large corporation.
• Commercial Finance Experience.
• Experience leading/managing projects highly desired.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel & Access.
• Previous SAP and/or HFM experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in accounting and financial analysis.
• Flexible, self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Detail oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Team-oriented with ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• Results driven with a track record to support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
• Partner with key business leaders within Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to deliver on objectives.
• Preparation of financial models and ad hoc analysis to support leadership.
• Provide support for month end reporting, forecasting, & budget process.
• Maintain financial datasets, providing accurate profitability analysis for a category level.
• Development and implementation of new reporting tools to meet growing business demands.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements.
• Play a key role in the preparation of the Quarterly Financial Operations Review.
• Participate in strategic financial projects.
• Responsible for category level P&L variance analysis and explanations.
