Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise risk and controls framework across finance teams.
• Coordinate internal audit reviews, control testing, payroll audits, and post-acquisition integration support.
• Assist quarterly and annual close cycles with financial analysis and reconciliations.
• Perform analytical reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
• Act as liaison for external auditors and coordinate information requests and deliverables.
• Support regulatory reporting, disclosures, and other corporate reporting requirements.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting matters including acquisitions and foreign operations.
• Lead or support special projects like pricing analyses, variance reviews, and control enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls and standardize processes.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Support the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the enterprise risk and controls framework across finance teams.

• Perform analytical reviews to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial reporting.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, coordinating information requests and audit deliverables.
• Support regulatory reporting, financial disclosures, and other corporate reporting requirements.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including acquisitions, foreign operations, and revenue recognition.
• Lead or support special projects, including pricing analyses, variance reviews, and control enhancement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls, standardize processes, and improve reporting efficiency.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Progressive experience from a large public accounting firm.
• Relevant experience in external audit, risk advisory, or internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with or exposure to public company risk and compliance work.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Confidence working with and communicating to senior executives and finance leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
