Rogers Communications, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Financial Reporting Team within the Controller’s Group. You will consolidate media results, ensure accurate IFRS reporting, and drive efficient processes with strong internal controls.

The role reports to the Senior Manager Media Accounting and Reporting in Toronto. Responsibilities include monthly/quarterly reporting, journal entries, consolidation, cash flow analysis, and collaboration with Tax, Legal, and

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant with 3–4 years of accounting experience in practice or industry.
Solid IFRS knowledge and strong internal controls/SOX experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills; Oracle experience is an asset.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Assist with monthly/quarterly financial reporting and consolidation analyses.
Prepare monthly consolidation journals and reconciliations.
Analyze Cash Flows, AR aging, and related party transactions.
Perform variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement.
Support external auditors during reviews and year-end audits.
Coordinate with Tax, Legal, and Regulatory for accounting treatments and reporting.
