Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A for a 6-month contract with potential for permanent employment. The role is based in downtown Toronto with three days in the office per week, offering close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and partnering with senior leadership to drive profitability and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years of progressive finance experience including FP&A.
• Strong modelling, budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.

Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A for a 6 month contract with strong perm possibility

Location: 3 days in office, downtown Toronto

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Manage quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, including revenue and operating expenses.
• Develop financial models and provide analysis to support business decisions.
• Prepare variance analyses and financial reports for senior leadership.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support pricing, profitability, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend improvements.
• Support financial reporting, reconciliations, and process efficiencies.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Experience with FP&A systems is an asset.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and business partnering skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
