What will you do?

1. Support the supervisor in leading the Financial Reporting team.
2. Prepare complex income and overhead lines for monthly closing, including variance analysis.
3. Generate internal reports for leadership on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
4. Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial statements through supplementary reports.
5. Research and analyze accounting transactions for internal reporting.
6. Participate in month-end activities, including journal entries and issue investigation.
7. Prepare and review financial statements and account reconciliations.
8. Assist in year-end audits and internal audit processes.
9. Identify areas for process improvement, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
10. Maintain high integrity in presenting the organization’s financial position according to standards.
11. Mentor and train junior staff.
12. Lead various projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

1. CPA designation is required.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or related analysis roles.
3. Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting.
4. Knowledge of AS400 or SAP preferred; SAP S4/HANA and OneStream are a plus.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI is preferred.
6. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.
7. Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels and explain complex concepts clearly.
8. High accuracy, organization, and accountability.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.

Pay:

Competitive wages starting from $76,900 to $111,505 CAD annually, based on skills, experience, and location.
