Role Mandate:

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will support accounting, financial planning, and analysis for Loblaw Digital’s e-commerce businesses. This includes supporting business rhythms, performance reporting, capital planning, annual budgeting, and ad-hoc projects.

Role Accountabilities:

• Manage daily accounting and financial reporting for the e-commerce businesses of PCX and SDM, ensuring proper controls, forecasting, and analysis.
• Collaborate with business and finance teams on reporting, forecasting, and process improvement opportunities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and partner with stakeholders.
• Provide insights through ad-hoc analysis on investments, new channels, and business ideas.
• Work closely with partners to deliver strategic guidance, insights, and analytics.

Role Requirements:

• University degree in Business, Analytics, or Finance; CPA designation or working towards it preferred.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Finance or Retail.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate useful business insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SQL, PowerBI, or MicroStrategy is a plus.
