Dream is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate Accounting. As a Senior Financial Analyst at Dream Industrial REIT, you will support the Corporate Accounting team in preparing financial reports and analyses, and contribute to strategic and process improvement initiatives.

This role offers significant experience in the industrial real estate sector across our global portfolio, with exposure to complex accounting and reporting matters.

What will you do?

1. Support the preparation of financial statements, MD&A, KPI analyses, and other deliverables.
2. Lead quarterly financial statement analysis on a consolidated basis and G&A analyses at corporate and regional levels.
3. Review and analyze key performance metrics quarterly.
4. Oversee month-end close deliverables and analyses.
5. Support G&A budgeting and perform variance analyses.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including European Finance, Property Accounting, and others.
7. Research and analyze corporate transactions and lease agreements; draft technical accounting policies.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting.
9. Streamline reports from financial systems.
10. Assist with ad hoc projects and prepare statutory legal entity statements for tax purposes.
11. Coach and supervise junior team members.

Experience required:

• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate.
• Big Four experience in real estate is an asset.
• CPA or equivalent professional designation.
• Strong IFRS accounting knowledge.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational skills with ability to prioritize.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of Workiva, JDE, or ReportsNow is a plus.
