About the job

Twilio is seeking a G&A Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This highly visible role involves partnering with the People and Finance teams to support budget management, forecasting, and analysis. The role acts as a strategic business partner, influencing process improvements and decision-making across the scope of the teams.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with leadership to analyze complex business decisions and provide financial insights.
2. Lead strategic financial planning for global People and Finance teams, including forecasts and tactical planning.
3. Collaborate with Sourcing and Accounting teams on purchase requisitions and purchase orders, supporting month-end accruals.
4. Manage the OPEX budget and headcount for the organizations.
5. Oversee in-quarter pacing for People and Finance spend, and communicate vendor spend variances.
6. Support ad hoc financial analyses as needed.

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of finance experience, preferably in a high-growth Tech or SaaS environment.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and expense pacing.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex processes.
• Project management and organizational skills, with experience partnering across teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with FP&A systems like Anaplan, Oracle, Tableau.
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Previous G&A support experience.

Location

This role is remote and based in Canada.

Travel

Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings.
