Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree with accounting emphasis required.
  • Minimum five years in a senior financial analyst role.
  • CPA designation is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with annual budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Perform salary analysis to monitor budget results and projections.
  • Prepare materials for the University Budget Advisory Committee.
  • Assist in external audit preparations per regulations.
  • Meet with departments to review budget requests.
  • Provide backup for other Financial Services and Payroll staff.
  • Contribute to financial reporting for provincial and CAUBO bodies.
  • Prepare cash flow analyses and enrolment reports.
  • Support capital project accounting and reporting to the Finance Committee.
