Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for an 18-month contract opportunity.

About the Opportunity

• Full cycle accounting, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, managing the GL in compliance with IFRS
• Prepared detailed financial analysis of results
• Conducting detailed review of accurate, complete and approved internal management based financial reporting under IFRS for ad hoc reporting and consistency with corporate policies and standards
• Prepare and review income and indirect tax provisions and tax returns

About You

• CPA or close to designation
• Strong understanding of IFRS
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Tax experience is an asset
• Insurance industry experience is an asset
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines and work with big data
• Oracle, Microsoft Office including Excel
