Your Mission

With extensive experience in finance and accounting, you will develop and conduct relevant financial analyses for our construction and manufacturing sectors. Your goal will be to quickly identify areas of loss and initiate proactive discussions with management. A thorough understanding of new information technologies is essential to optimize processes related to reviewing the organization's financial performance, especially under tight deadlines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze the financial statements of our subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key financial indicators (KPIs) to identify performance issues requiring management attention.
  • Analyze results across business units, identify trends, and explain major variances and budget deviations.
  • Build relationships with functional teams and senior financial representatives by structuring financial reviews to quickly identify issues and provide explanations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial consolidation and reporting processes for better review and synthesis.
  • Maintain explanations for significant variances and leverage new technologies like Power BI to streamline reporting and enhance analytical insights.
  • Participate in preparing management reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement new procedures and policies to standardize accounting operations across all business units.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • CPA or CFA certification preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of accounting experience
  • Expertise in financial analysis and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of new information technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in French or English; bilingual ability is a significant asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
