Acuity Inc. in Montreal seeks a talented finance leader to support Canadian Manufacturing Facilities within Greater Montreal and the US. This role partners with plant operations to drive actionable insights and financial performance through reporting, analysis, and close processes.

The role is hybrid with 2-3 days on site at one of the Quebec facilities, and requires bilingual French/English, CPAs or MBAs preferred, and travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience building strong relationships with site leaders and influencing operational and financial decision-making.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
• Must be able to work onsite at one of our Montreal manufacturing facilities 2-3 days per week.
• Bilingual French and English to serve clients across Canada and USA.
• Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
• Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally with teams across the organization.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented finance leader to support our Canadian Manufacturing Facililies located in Greater Montreal and the US. This individual is a key partner to manufacturing leaders to drive actionable insights and financial performance across the business. Responsibilities include, financial reporting and analysis, and regular partnering with plant operations to drive success.

This role is hybrid with 2-3 days a week on site in one of our Quebec manufacturing facilities:

• Eureka Lighting (an Acuity Brands company) in Montreal
• Cyclone Lighting in Terrebonne
• Luminis in Pointe-Claire

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

• Partner with plant leadership and educate on impact of operational decisions and the impact on financial results
• Collaborate closely with operations, sales, engineering, and procurement to ensure team synergy, a thorough understanding of the various business processes, and strong mutual support.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as yearly financial target
• Oversee the monthly financial close process for the plant and respond timely to ad hoc financial requests
• Prepare and review operational key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Other tasks as required by the organization.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA and/or CPA preferred

3+ years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment

Proven experience building strong relationships with site leaders and influencing operational and financial decision-making

Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time

Must be able to work onsite at one of our Montreal manufacturing facilities 2-3 days per week
