Job summary

Our Client in Mississauga is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. You will support monthly close, prepare and analyze P&L and balance sheet reporting, and perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.

Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, budgeting support, and developing management reporting tools. CPA in progress is preferred, with 2–5 years of accounting/financial analysis experience in financial services being a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA designation in progress is preferred.
• 2–5 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience.
• Experience within a financial institution or financial services environment is a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
