Job summary

Qualifications

• 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Experience managing a team (2 to 3 direct reports).
• Retail experience is an asset.
• Big Four auditing experience is an asset.
• Bilingual in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Financial Accounting, Reporting & Governance (70%), including month-end close and external statements.
• Leads accounting entries for provisions, impairment, and discounting; supports audits with external auditors.
• Prepares monthly reporting package for lenders and management; improves internal controls.
• Provides US GAAP/IFRS guidance and tax filings support.
• Oversees income, sales, and withholding tax filings and external tax consultations.
• Leads Financial Planning & Analysis (30%), budgets, forecasts, dashboards, and KPI reports.
