MDA Space in Brampton, ON is hiring a Senior Finance Manager, Accounting and External Reporting. The role can be full-time or a two-year contract, reporting to the Director of Accounting in Corporate Finance.

You will lead consolidations, intercompany accounting and external reporting, while guiding a direct report and coordinating with Tax and business teams. Requirements include a Canadian CPA/CA, IFRS expertise, and strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and IFRS expertise required.
• Experience with consolidation, multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
• Proficiency with OneStream, Workiva or comparable tools.
• ERP experience with Infor LN or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation process and prepare accounting entries.
• Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations across entities.
• Drive special projects and analyze consolidated results.
• Lead legal entity accounting in collaboration with Tax and Finance.
• Prepare IFRS memos and position papers; support month-end close.
• Oversee audit liaison and ensure internal controls.
