Job summary

Brookfield Properties in Toronto, ON is seeking a Senior Analyst, Finance to streamline financial processes and manage cash flow forecasting. The role involves collaborating with asset management and corporate teams to deliver accurate reporting and data-driven insights.

You will work with a high-performing team, support monthly closes, and drive continuous improvement across billing, AR/AP, and financial systems. A CPA or equivalent designation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Excel.
• Comfortable working with evolving systems and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed liquidity analysis and forecasting across AR/AP to support cash flow planning.
• Prepare and review chargeback bills and manage disbursements via our billing tools.
• Review journal entries and ensure proper documentation and accuracy.
• Monitor aged receivables and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate balances.
• Collaborate with Technology Service to implement system improvements and testing.
