Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management Private Institutional Capital Adviser (Canada), LP is seeking a Manager, Finance to join Brookfield Infrastructure’s Global Finance team in Downtown Toronto. You will oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting, contribute to FP&A deliverables, and interact with Brookfield parent companies.

The role offers leadership mentorship for co-op students and exposure to a public asset owner.

Qualifications

3-5 years of progressive work experience in accounting or auditing.
Completed professional accounting designation (CPA).
Strong financial systems experience and advanced Excel skills.
Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized, adaptable and able to manage changing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and proactive in workload management.

Responsibilities

Prepare platform level financial statements to support consolidated reports under IFRS/US GAAP.
Lead resolution of complex accounting issues and coordinate with auditors.
Present analyses and reports to senior management for decision making.
Support audits, SOX compliance and quarterly reviews.
Assist in forecasts and present results to stakeholders.
Collaborate with fund finance, tax, corporate and regional teams.
Mentor junior staff and drive process improvements.
