Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management Private Institutional Capital Adviser (Canada), LP is seeking a senior finance professional to manage financial forecasting, reporting and strategic analysis for operating assets. You will support quarterly reporting, variance analysis and management presentations for senior leaders.

The role requires a CPA/CA with Big 4 experience, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and proven ability to translate financial results into actionable messages.

Qualifications

• Qualified CPA/CA, ideally Big 4 with proven high performance.
• Strong Excel skills and financial model development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze and evaluate financial and liquidity forecasts for operating assets.
• Oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Prepare quarterly presentations for Brookfield senior management.
• Develop understanding of operating businesses to explain performance metrics.
• Support onboarding of acquisitions into Brookfield finance processes.
• Identify process improvements for a growing operating platform.
