Job summary

Foran Mining Corporation seeks a Senior Project Geologist for the McIlvenna Bay project in Saskatchewan. The role is full-time on-site with a 14/14 rotation; off-season work will be based in Saskatoon.

The project aims to advance exploration, target generation, and deposit modeling while supporting innovation and field operations. The successful candidate will lead geological programs, coordinate data integration, and contribute to drilling and sampling strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.
• P.Geo designation with registration to APEGS or eligible transfer.
• 7+ years of post-graduate exploration experience.
• Experience managing exploration programs.

Responsibilities

• Target generation and project exploration planning.
• Integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to identify targets.
• Conduct regional to deposit-scale studies to refine models.
• Use 3D geological modeling tools to refine targets.
• Support field and drilling programs; assist with QA/QC.
• Prepare program reports, maps, and documentation.
• Mentor junior team members and support training.
• Lead technical initiatives such as core scanning and re-logging.
