Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a detail-oriented worker to support fabrication operations. The role involves following the production schedule, locating material by size and color, and ensuring proper packaging of finished parts.

Candidate must read, write, and communicate in English, perform basic math, and lift up to 50 pounds. Prior fabrication experience is an asset, and duties may evolve with Senior Management guidance.

Qualifications

• Review and understand all work orders.
• Setup all heaters in Bending.
• Follow Production Schedule as outlined; backorder cases may affect plan.
• Identify and locate material by size and color.
• Apply correct packaging for finished parts.
• Visual check of parts for damage; report deficiencies to lead hand.
• Record number of pieces on completed work order.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Management.

Responsibilities

• Follow Production Schedule as outlined except in case of backorder.
• Identify and locate material by dimensional size and color.
• Apply correct packaging for finished parts.
• Visual check of parts for damage, report deficiencies to lead hand.
• Record number of pieces on completed work order.
• Report any deficiencies in systems, facilities, machinery, equipment and/or tools.
