Job summary

Pursuit is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping departments for Elk + Avenue Hotel and Mount Royal Hotel in Banff, Alberta. You will oversee daily operations, champion standard of cleanliness, supervise staff, manage schedules and payroll, and partner with Finance to optimize budgets and inventory.

The role requires experience in large hotels (450+ rooms), strong leadership, and a focus on cost efficiency, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Clear, effective verbal and written communication across a seven-h hotel operations
• Past success as an Executive Housekeeper in a hotel with 450+ rooms
• Ability to develop, oversee and implement staff training programs
• Experience managing budgets, scheduling, payroll, forecasting and inventory

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of housekeeping at Elk + Avenue and Mount Royal Hotels in Banff
• Collaborate with Hotel Managers and Director of Facilities to improve cleanliness and maintenance
• Manage daily housekeeping services for rooms and laundry
• Create and manage department budgets with Finance and Director of Lodging
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, payroll, forecasting and inventory control
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms and public areas
