The role requires strong cost estimation, budgeting, and project coordination skills, with attention to safety and quality; experience in earthworks, roadwork, water mains, bridges, and demolition is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10 years of estimating experience in civil construction.
• Post-secondary education in construction estimation, engineering, or related field.
• Detail-oriented under high-pressure conditions.
• Strong collaboration with engineers, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Pursue upcoming quoting opportunities and review project specs.
• Use SharpeSoft to create cost estimates, manage budgets, and track performance.
• Create and submit estimates, tenders and quotations with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with management to schedule and execute awarded projects.
• Understand specifications for earthwork, roadwork, sewer and watermain, bridge and demolition works.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
