Job summary

Trevor Frances Recruitment is seeking a results-driven Contract Recruiter to support multiple manufacturing and engineering searches across Canada. You’ll manage full-cycle recruitment, source passive candidates, and partner with leadership on sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing, engineering, operations, or technical roles.
• Strong sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools.
• Experience recruiting passive candidates.
• Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Independent while collaborating with a small remote team.
• Experience using an ATS.
• Attention to detail and candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and engage passive and active candidates using multiple sourcing strategies.
• Conduct outreach via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing.
• Complete phone and virtual interviews to evaluate qualifications and fit.
• Assess candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques.
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future opportunities.
• Present qualified candidates with detailed interview summaries.
• Coordinate interviews and keep candidates informed throughout hiring.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in our ATS.
• Collaborate with leadership on sourcing strategies for challenging searches.
• Provide market insights and salary trends where appropriate.
