Linesight is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the development of total project estimates and risk analysis. The role requires extensive experience in construction estimating, proficiency with major estimating systems, and strong communication to coordinate with project teams and clients.

The successful candidate will maintain rate libraries, ensure cost-containment, and deliver accurate, timely estimates across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience as Estimator in construction.
• Experience using estimating systems (Sage Timberline, InEight, CostX).
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Detail oriented with focus on quality and cost control.

Responsabilités

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team.
• Lead the development of the total project estimate.
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team.
• Analyze and propose solutions to complex problems in line with project objectives and guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator over 10 years with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment
• Have demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight , or CostX
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline
• Are RICS , CEP or CPE chartered or are on the path to complete it . We can help !
• Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
• Are detail orientated and quality focused
• Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
